I had a lovely experience at Aki Grand Hotel & Spa, especially enjoying the amazing view of Miyajima Island. The private onsen was a true highlight, offering a wonderful way to relax. On the downside, some facilities felt outdated, and the dining options were limited at certain hours, which affected the overall experience.

My stay at Aki Grand Hotel & Spa was a mixed bag. The amazing sea view from my room was a highlight, as was the free shuttle service from Miyajimaguchi Station. However, the dining options left much to be desired, and some facilities were dated. Overall, while the location and views were great, the experience felt a bit underwhelming.

While the private onsen and the main onsen within the hotel were pleasant experiences, some areas of the hotel felt worn and in need of an update.

I booked the dinner and breakfast package, and the kaiseki dinner was a particular highlight. breakfast was generous, but the scrambled eggs had an unexpected fish taste that didn't appeal to me.

The private onsen was a magical experience, but I found the public onsen a bit underwhelming as it was underground. there were some quirky elements, like needing to walk around the room to switch off the lights.

The food options were limited and didn't quite meet my expectations, which detracted from the overall experience.
